Flow Students exists to CONNECT students to Christ and other Christ followers, create an atmosphere where students are challenged to GROW in their relationship with Christ, and equip and challenge them to SERVE others. Flow Students is dedicated to helping students live transformed lives, while empowering them to go against the grain of today's culture. Our focus is to offer students valuable, practical biblical teachings they can apply to their lives. Our students are important to us. The First Church desires to give them a place to belong. Our services are centered on the student’s spiritual, emotional, and social wellbeing. Come join us!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHAT HAPPENS ON A TYPICAL WEDNESDAY NIGHT?

Wednesdays begin at 7:00pm with an opening icebreaker game before Pastor Dylan and Pastor Tyler lead their respective students in a brief devotion centered around a biblical concept or Scripture verse. Students then break up into age-appropriate small groups to wrestle with Scripture at a deeper level. Biblical literacy is a cornerstone of Flow Student Ministries and Wednesday night is a time dedicated to intentionally developing this in our students.

WHAT HAPPENS ON A TYPICAL SUNDAY NIGHT?

Students begin arriving on campus around 5:00pm for food, fun, and fellowship. The Flow Worship Service starts at 6:00pm with a time of worship in song and prayer led by “The Overflow” worship band before splitting into middle school and high school groups for a more age specific message. Every fourth Sunday night of the month is “Friends Night” a time where students are encouraged to bring their friends to experience the Overflow alongside the Flow Student Ministries Family.

WHAT SORT OF EVENTS HAPPEN DURING THE YEAR?

Our youth group travels to several *IPHC-wide youth events every year, such as Youth Quest, Accelerant, and Acquire the Fire. Additionally, our middle schoolers are invited to join our traveling ministry team and are also eligible to join the Flow Band, Drama Team, and Bible Quest Team.
